I tried 4 Affordable Vitamin C Serums, so you don’t have to

Yesss! I tried 4 affordable Vitamin C serums in a span of 6 months so you don’t have to. Recently, I did an in-depth post on Vitamin C. The importance of it in skincare and the ingredients you should look for when buying any form of Vitamin C product.

I know that there are lot of Vitamin C products in the market including moisturizers, masks etc, but I feel like you get the best results when you use a Vitamin C serum.

I always get so many questions on Instagram about the affordable vitamin C serums, and to be honest it was really hard for me to find the ones that I really loved. This post took a while for me, because I was actually trying out all the vitamin C serums over the span of couple of months, so that I can give you my honest opinion on how I like these.

Saying that, its not always neccessary to spend your hard earned money on expensive skincare products to get the results, and after trying these affordable Vitamin C serums, all I will say is, these work really well and are as effective as the expensive ones.

My personal favorite Affordable Vitamin C Serums:

  1. Vichy LiftActiv Vitamin C Ampoule

The Vichy Vitamin C serum comes in an ampoule form rather than in a bottle and it is one of the simplest vitamin C serums I have tried. It only has 10 ingredients and L-Ascorbic Acid is the main form of Vitamin C.

L-Ascorbic Acid has a tendency to oxidize fast, so it’s important it’s packaged in a good form to prevent oxidation. Therefore this product from Vichy is great. It’s not sticky at all and works great for my sensitive skin.

The other serum from Vichy is also a great affordable option, if you prefer it in regular packaging instead of the ampoules.

  1. Loreal Revitalift Pure Vitamin C Concentrate

The next one that I like is this one from Loreal. This is more of a creamy consistency, so I would recommend this more for people with normal to dry skin. This is my favorite one from the Drugstore and is under $30.

  1. Versed, stroke of brilliance brightening serum

Versed is a perfect one, if you are looking for something that is great for your acne prone skin since it’s not as concentrated as the other vitamin c serums but still does a great job in brightening your skin. If you are just starting out with using a Vitamin C, definitely start with this one.

  1. Naturium Vitamin C

This one from Naturium is just like the Versed Vitamin C is also very gentle on the skin. It is not irritating.  The ingredients in this one are really great because it has antioxidants and Vitamin E in it as well along with the Vitamin C.

All these Vitamin C serums are under $30 dollars and work great. If you are looking to incorporate Vitamin C serums in your skincare routine, definitely check these out.
