If you are one of those people who always struggle with- what to wear to work, you are not alone. There are times when I feel uninspired to get dressed up and be a little more creative with workwear. But, to be honest, a cute outfit totally transforms my workday and instantly makes me feel confident.

So starting this week, I decided to start this new series all about work outfits. I will be posting work outfit options every month, so make sure you subscribe to my blog for all the updates.

Fall 2019 is full of great fashion trends: long skirts, oversized blazers, plaid and leather trousers … all of which can be incorporated in your office wardrobe.

I am more of a business casual kind of a gal, but I totally love a good suit when its time for an important meeting. In this post, I decided to give you three options for office wear, which are quite fashionable and incorporates some of the very versatile pieces like the black blazer.

The Oversized Blazer Look:

I love a good oversized blazer. Oversized blazers can be worn so many different ways: over a graphic tee, or over a hoodie with jeans, but can also be worn for work with a sweater dress or trousers. I love this blazer from Zara and I decided to pair it with my favorite leather skirt, also from Zara.

I love how this outfit incorporates different fall trends like the leather skirt and the knee-high boots, but when paired together with an oversized blazer, it’s such a balanced look with different textures of the same color, black.

You can also switch the skirt with some jeans or trousers for work. The point is, you need an oversized black blazer in your wardrobe since you can pair it with so many different pieces.

TIP: If you’re sticking to a single color, play up your look with texture.

All about the Long Pleated Skirt:

Pleated skirts are back and its all the hype right now. Pleated skirts are making a major comeback.

When I say major, I mean it. Fashion labels from Burberry to Off–White are loading runway collections with the flouncy designs.

Pleated skirts are great for work too because they keep you warm and also make an unexpected fashion statement. Pair it with a sweater as I have done here, a graphic tee or a button-down shirt.

Styled with some ankle boots it gives such a flattering and crisp look. It gives an illusion that you made an effort to look fashionable for work, but in reality, you only need to buy a good skirt and pair it with multiple things already in your closet to make a statement.

The Wide Leg Dad pants:

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know how much I love these pants from H&M. They are super comfy and feel like a jogger, but are trousers. I have already styled these with a button-down, a graphic tee, and even a hoodie.

For fall and winter, I love pairing wide-leg trousers with sweaters. I wanted to be a little more creative with this outfit and make it a bit different. So, I decided to pair it with this sleeveless vest from Zara. You can even pair it with a black blazer, like the one above.
